Cobblestones Win

The cobblestones were nasty today, splitting the peloton into small fragments and dramatically changing the general classification leader board.  Team Saxo Bank staying ahead of the peloton and staying away from the crashes and the bike and tire problems were able to lead Andy Schleck over the line along with stage winner Thor Hushovd ahead of all other yellow jersey contenders.  Three bike changes cost Sylvain Chavanel the yellow and a flat tire resulted in Lance Armstrong's bid to stay ahead of all the GC contenders. Team Saxo Bank's day was not all glory though as Andy Schleck's brother Frank went down with a broken collar bone and is now out of the Tour.
Prediction for stage four:  Mark Cavendish came through today in good shape and stage four will be all his.
